FORUM X COLOR – where light and colors come alive!
Last summer’s optical illusions collection, Forum X Illusion, delighted tens of thousands of our visitors throughout the season. To our joy, Forum X Illusion was embraced as its own and even included as part of travel guides’ Helsinki tours and school groups’ excursion programs. For the summer of 2025, we are once again getting a Forum X -implementation in the shopping centre, and it is something entirely new.
Welcome to the Forum X Color, an experience, where the play of light and colors merge into one and transform the unique marble scenery of the shopping center into a dazzling art experience.
Dive into the world of colors – three works, one unforgettable journey
THREADS OF RAINBOW (floors 0–3)
At the heart of Forum, in the atrium, you can experience a massive thread installation that creates the illusion of a vast rainbow in Forum’s brand colors. The threads stretch across three different floors, forming mystical shapes of X – can you find them all? The installation can be explored around the atrium on floors 0–3.
RGB WALL OF COLOR (floor 0)
Step in front of the camera and – surprise! Your photo will show three colorful shadows – blue, red, and yellow. This interactive photo wall brings art up close and offers a fun keepsake. Save a digital version for free or get a print version on-site: for a fee of 2 €, you can take a printed version of the picture with you. Print photo sales and delivery are handled by iBox Photo Booth.
MAZE OF COLOR (floor 3)
The color maze invites you to play with light and colors. As you walk through the maze, the walls shift and reflect new shades – the world changes with every step.

Forum X Color delights people of all ages throughout the summer from May 23 to August 31, 2025, at the Forum Shopping Centre, located at Mannerheimintie 20, Helsinki. The works are entirely unique and can only be seen at Forum.
