Forum's partnership with Helsinki Pride continues for the fifth year. The results of this collaboration are visibly present in Forum. Helsinki Pride is Finland's largest human rights and cultural event, held annually in the capital.
LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP BEARS FRUIT
It is an honor for us to once again be one of Helsinki Pride’s main partners. Our most important mission is to advocate for equality. As an influential environment, we are at our strongest, but this collaboration has also helped us reflect on our own operational space.
We want to create an accessible commercial urban space in the heart of Helsinki for everyone who works at Forum daily and for those who visit us. Through this partnership, we have focused on accessibility, inclusivity, safety, and equality within the Shopping Centre. Our facilities are almost entirely accessible, which is not a given in a historic property that has stood the test of time for decades. Our newest elevators feature voice control, and in November 2024, we introduced brand-new gender-neutral restrooms and childcare facilities.
We organize numerous free events every year, and our Helsinki Pride partnership has helped us improve the way we incorporate equality and safety into our event communication and practices. HELSINKI PRIDE 2025 – THE ENTIRE JUNE FILLED WITH MEANINGFUL DISCUSSIONS AND THE JOY OF LOVE
Helsinki Pride will announce its theme for 2025 in the spring. Throughout Pride Month, we will proudly champion human rights and equality. The celebration culminates in Pride Week from June 23rd to 29th, with the parade taking place on Saturday, June 28th. Join us in the heart of Helsinki to be your true self!
