Heart balloons and surprises on Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is a special celebration that brings people together to celebrate friendship and love. At Forum, the day is filled with surprises and benefits. To create a warm atmosphere, we decorate the atrium with thousands of heart-shaped foil balloons. And because the joy of love is meant to be shared, you can take a helium balloon home with you. To ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy the fun, the balloons are limited to one per customer. We'll install the heart balloons in two rounds during the day, with the first round ready at around 11:00 AM and the second at around 4:00 PM.
Check closely, as some of the heart-shaped balloon weights contain a special Valentine's gift for 50 lucky customers. By visiting our Info on the 2nd floor with such a balloon weight, you can receive a pastel-colored Forum X SIGG stainless steel water bottle. We've marked the balloon weights with text if they qualify for this gift.
Friendly benefits and delicacies in our shops, cafés and restaurants

Did you know this about Valentine's Day?
Valentine's Day has its roots in the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia, which was held on February 15th. During this time, the festival was dedicated to fertility and purification. Later, the Catholic Church adopted St. Valentine's Day, which was associated with the celebration of love and friendship. St. Valentine was a martyr who, according to legend, secretly married young couples in Christian ceremonies, defying Emperor Claudius II's orders.
Today, Valentine's Day is known especially as a social event where people show affection to their loved ones. The date of the celebration has become established in many countries on February 14th. Internationally, the celebration is called Valentine's Day, while in Finland it is known as "ystävänpäivä" (friends day), and here it is more focused on celebrating friendship rather than romantic love. Valentine's Day has been celebrated in Finland since the 1980's.
